I'm talking about hair… and you might think it's a sterile argument.
Wrong!
Absolutely wrong.
Some months ago, I began painting Afro T-shirts featuring beautiful Black women and their stunning natural hair.
I felt that my relief colors would be perfect for capturing their essence — and I was right. These colors brought their beauty to life.
That’s when I stepped into another world — a world where hair speaks, tells stories, and expresses countless values and emotions. That’s how my Afrocentric Collection of hand-painted 3D T-shirts was born.
I found that natural hair is a powerful, alternative language. The language of self-love, care, and identity among Black women.

Today, I want to talk about Black women's hair — those women who wear their hairstyles like crowns 👑.
Natural hair that speaks of Africa, of heritage, of love for their roots carried under their radiant skin.
But it’s also about power, joy, and the freedom to be.
The freedom to experiment, to support one another, to be bold, to refuse to conform — and to celebrate life through colors, textures, cuts, and beauty.
So yes, I want to write — even just a little — about African-American women.
Their strength, their expression, their royalty.
But maybe... I say it better through my art.

You're more than welcome
The paintings 12 & 13 on the page titled,“Not only my hair”spoke to me and i’m inquiring about your prices and if you do custom work as well.I’m a huge fan of Eryhah Badu and Lauren Hill and want to know what are your prices for oil paintings of them and/or shirts done with those images?
